The following is the introduction Danny wrote for this space during his journey. We keep it here exactly as he penned it, to forever honor his voice, his beautiful spirit, and his immense gratitude for his village.
I was diagnosed with T-Cell Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma last year when I was just 17. Now at 18, I find myself in the fight of my life. When I'm not battling this illness, I enjoy cooking, playing the piano, singing, hiking and immersing myself in my favorite video games. I am grateful for my two loving and supportive parents, who manage to attend all my doctor appointments despite being self-employed, and my three wonderful sisters who always make time to be with me. I also want to express my heartfelt thanks to the incredible village standing behind me, supporting my family and me along the way. Thank you all for your unwavering support.
