This week has been tough for Danny, filled with tough procedures and a whirlwind of emotions. On Sunday, May 11th, Danny was transferred to City of Hope hospital, where we’re hopeful he will receive the best possible care.

Yesterday, he was scheduled to have his lung drained again, a step that would ease his breathing and help prepare him for radiation treatments. To everyone’s surprise, the CT scan showed that there wasn’t enough fluid to move forward with the procedure. The sudden change was confusing, yet in the midst of everything, we’re choosing to see it as a small, quiet miracle.

Danny has also been experiencing numbness in his legs and hands, a frustrating and disheartening symptom that’s been wearing on him. It has been a lot to carry, both physically and emotionally.

Today, Danny finished his first radiation treatment. It was tough, but he’s staying strong and fighting every step of the way.

Please keep him in your prayers, for peace in his heart, strength in his body, and courage for the days ahead.

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone praying, checking in, and walking with us. Thank you again for holding Danny close to your hearts. And a special thank you to everyone who joined us in prayer last night.
